My boyfriend found a huge black caterpillar of some kind today. He was moving it as he thought it was a dog turd, but it moved! Look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean. I did a google search but turned up nothing. Can anyone tell me what it is? We are near Houston, TX if that helps.

it's gorgeous sssmuffin, well worth the time. I did a cross stitch of 3 wise men that took about 8 yrs because I didn't work on it steady, so I know how much work goes into things like that.

My garden is certainly just like me, very eclectic, overflowing and somewhat messy. LOL. But it's true. I never seem to have enough hours in the day to get everything done and my arthritis stops me from working too long at a time. I like so many different things and a cottage garden suits me...

I dont have a real recipe, just put in what I like. I brown 1-2 lbs hamburger with a large chopped onion and lots of pressed garlic, at least 4 or 5 large cloves. When done I drain off the fat and add in 1 can beans of any sort I have, 2 reg cans or 1 large can diced...

I was born and raised in Grand Rapids till we moved here to TX in 81, It's nice to garden all year here, but sometimes I wish we had a break. There just seems to be something wrong with weedeating and mowing in January.
