    Raccoons troubling a lot!

    I agree removal isn't the option. Making things uninviting and as hard for the coons as possible is. We had a problem with them pooping in our pool. Apparently they like to go to the bathroom in the water. Our neighbor down the street has a pond and reccomended a fake alligator head that floats...

    We also add sand mixed in. It's super cheap and great for drainage. While it does make the pots heavier, you don't have to deal with it floating to the top like perlite.

    Faerie gardens, or minature gardens

    Love everything whimsical in the garden. Other than gnomes we've got some garden tree faces and several funny frog statues (our son is obsessed with frogs) although never thought of creating a fairy garden. Maybe when our daughter gets a bit older would be a fun project!

    For us rubbing alcohol and water in a 50/50 mix worked. We put it in a spray bottle. Now every plant we purchase gets a spray down before going in the garden.
