Angel Trumpets planting

Hi all. I think I want angel trumpets(Datura) for my purple/yellow flowers. It is averaging 95-100 degrees here during the day. Is it too late to plant some small plants?

Where do you live. Datura are not hardy in my zone. So planting this late would not be worth it.

I have angel trumpets but they haven't started blooming yet. I think it would be to late to plant now to get blooms this year but you could plant them for next years bloom. They are perennials in zone 8. I'm in zone 6 and mine have came back the last 2 years. I have to mulch them heavily to keep them from freezing.

I was pretty sure they wouldn't bloom this year, but hopefully next. The plants I bought are 6-10 inches tall. When should they be fertilized and what is the best fertilizer for them? I have a ton of pine mulch so that shouldn't be a problem overwintering. Thanks so much for your response!

I am zone 9+ and I just planted some I Started from seeds and they are doing great. I use fish emulsion and they are doing great. May not bloom unless we have a late winter.
If I were you I would go ahead and plant them. They will do much better in the graound.
