I like standard fuchsia, as well as standard geraniums!
I train small trees and large shrubs as standards too!

I assume you snip the top bud off to start the growth to move outward.

....when it finally reaches the height I want, then I snip the tip!
I remove all other buds along the stem to force the plant to shoot upwards.
Your's are looking good Kath!
Yes I nip out when height I want it to finish.
Here they are again Ron the one on the left is really growing fast.
