Hello, New to the forum. I am making two large raised planter beds out of redwood for vegetables. I would like to use wire mesh at the base to prevent moles and gophers from invading. I am thinking of using stainless steel wire mesh 1/4 inch and just wanted to get your input. It seems that this is the safest material to avoid toxins or heavy metals that might leach into the soil from galvanized. Thanks!
