Could have been worse. I know that might be rough to fathom, but when I worked at a local hotel a mid-40's in plaid shorts and knee socks thought I'd like to stop mopping the hall to chat with him. Um, nooo! I liked the 80+ year old caterer's dad who wanted me to ditch the broom and go ride around in his delivery van for the afternoon. At least he was cute.

You folks are too funny. I need an extra, extra jiggle hiding bikini after all the Christmas food! I'll have to make it out of my camp tent!

You are not kidding....I was very active this summer and was actually in good shape...then hubby got laid off (normal lay off for the winter...does road construction) and we just sat around here on our bumms eating like hogs, then the holidays came and I don't even recognize myself....I look like one of those cute little sponge animals that you soak in water and they turn into the big hideous monster...lol!! I keep telling myself that it will be okay once the weather gets warmer and I get to working out in the yard and going to the lake again, but I don't know....thinking of getting a bender ball.

I started a diet yesterday. Smelly Melly my arthritis kicked in a couple of months ago and have set on my can and got lazy. I have got to get in better shape.

Yeah, Dale, extra weight is not good for the arthritis. You have extra incentive to lose those pesty pounds. I have back and hip problems, when I am not active my hips dislocate so I know your pain. For me anyway...it really hurts at first but once you get going it tends to really lube up the joints and makes me feel alot better....I have a friend with arthritis though and if she does too much she swells up something fierce and it is not a good thing. I would do what your doctor advised you to do and better yet...do what your body tells you to do...lol! Well, I hope what ever brought it on stops and you can kick it back out and start feeling good again. Hey, maybe that is what we need...Kickboxing anyone?

Smelly Melly you understand my arthritis swelling in my knees quite well. All I will say is that it is not much fun sometimes getting old.
