Good morning, Good Afternoon, and Good Evening, wherever any of you may be! I'm Kobbin and I just popped in this channel to let you know I'm here to learn and have nice wholesome conversations. Particularly pertaining to gardening, but I can be flexible. ;]
I presume the majority of our members here are quite learned when it comes to gardening, and plants of all types. I however, am not. I'm starting out with a pitiful, abused daffodil transferred from pot to soil, some tilled but questionable ground, one hose, and one full sized shovel. I have absolutely nothing else but a vague idea of what I want to grow, and an overwhelming sense of excitement! Any and all greetings and advice are more than valuable to me!
About my area: I live on the northern coast of California where it's mostly very windy and very rainy and barely ever gets hotter than 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It's currently spring, and amazingly the temperature has been rising around 70 to 80 degrees every day, with more than a week of it to come! For the most part, though, living by the ocean brings a lot of freezing temperatures and wind. Hopefully this info helps.
You all have a great day and don't be shy in saying hello or letting me know about all the knowledge you have built up! I'm looking forward to it. :]
