MY Christmas Tree hat I just finished. Made it from my own pattern and now I'm checking pattern to make sure it comes out the same. Easy to do and only took me one day to crochet it.

Gosh guys....I am so jealous.
oh by the way Karen, the kids hats will be a hit. My daughter just loves them they are perfect. Saving them for Christmas for the kids. It hasn't gotten too cool yet so they don't need them yet.

This doesn't look like too old of a thread to bring back.

Knitting is what I do when I can't garden. One night I decided to teach myself to knit just to see if I could that was about 2 years ago now.

Right now I'm just finishing a sweater for myself - Torgeir by Elsebeth Lavold using Silky Wool on US4's. I need sew the other arm on and knit the neck ribbing but need daylight as it is black.

I'm about to cast on a pair of mittens when I finish this post. Lion Brand Fisherman's wool on US2's. This will be my fast project.

This weekend I'll cast on a gansey for my daughter as a practice piece before I make an adult size one. Pattern will be Chelsea's Heart Gansey from Beth Brown-Reinsel's book.
