I recently had a silly thought.
I was lookin in the fridge and saw some green onions I purchased from the store. The roots are still on the ends of the white tips, so can I plant these?
Will they grow?

I often get plants just from the roots of green onions. I always put the cut roots in the compost and alot of times I find onions growing in the compost!
Thanks guys! I will try to plant them and see what happens. I have some in the fridge Im not going to eat.
