Happy, happy!
Joy, joy!
Happy days are here again!
Been wondering how everyone's been

Yes Jules! It really is me! I'm BACK!!!
A lot of water ran (some of it muddy) under the bridge since the good ole days when GG was at its height!!!

I missed everyone so much, and have been wondering how everyone was doing! With Bob's hard work we can all get together in one place that really feels like HOME!

Thank you Bob!!

Hi Ron! good to see you again :D

Hi Ron....so glad it is actually YOU! Yup - a lot of muddy water - but funny how that water can clear when the source is gone and it is not being stirred up anymore! Took me a long time to get over the nastyness of it all!
How was your garden this year? Any new projects on the go? ANd the family - how are they all???? So glad Bob has given us this space to get back in touch with the gardening friends who mean so much to us.

I am touched that you remembered about my grandkids Debe!!! Thanks for asking....now that you have me going...I have bragging rights!! They are great - the oldest is now 7 and in grade 2 and such a quiet gentle soul. His brother - 6 - is a going concern!! Then my other son has a son who is 5.5 and the smartest little boy I have ever met! He talks numbers constantly and can count money and tell time which my 7 year old is just learning to do!!! And now that I am "officially" married (yes, you folks all missed that event in February!!!) I have two more step grandchildren - a girl aged 13 and another grandson aged 4.....all incredible kids.

Thanks Debe...the wedding was very personal - and we didn't tell a soul, except best friends who were our witnesses and the JP - (all friends and retired RCMP too.) It was just what we wanted - I had lots of candles and flowers in our living room....cozy - and intimate...and then we all went out to dinner together. Then the phone calls began the next day....that was fun!!!
It is now a standing joke that everywhere we go we take our witnesses and JP with us!!! And the JP is always quick to remind my hubby of his vows!!

Thanks Janet. I read in the other thread about your hubby - and your son, both out of work. Good timing for your hubby to recuperate, however, one has to worry about what is down the road. We haven't had much evidence on this coast yet of the economic slowdown...probably b.c we are slow anyways!!! However, this week I have been hearing of various stores and businesses closing their doors, so it is a reality now. One has to be very cautious wiht the extras in life while we go through this bad time. But - the good thing is that basics brings family and friends back together .... so, people will have to get out the board games and start talking to each other!
You have three grands now??? WOW - nice they are handy you to see regularly. yes - I'll inundate you all with pictures soon enough!!

Congratulations Jules! Your wedding sounds lovely. A nice intimate affair, the best kind. My, and your grands are really getting big. I hope there will be some pics in the future so we can all oo and ahh. :)

It's so nice to see so many friends back together again.

Since I'm under snow, it would be nice to see some flower pics from those that still have something growing.
