Hi, I live in Newcastle, and my passionfruit vine is outgrowing the trellis I built last year. I was thinking of upgrading to a pergola so it can spread properly and provide shade over the lawn... My problem here is I don’t know how to build a pergola that won’t block too much light from the rest of the garden coz passionfruit can get wild quickly, and I don’t want to regret the placement.... Does anyone have experience if pergolas work well for heavy fruiting vines??
