Sharon I am adding this to the top of your post ...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We were talking in the Recycled Crafts thread and many good ideas were talked about there so We thought it would be a good idea to split the thread into two subjects...

Debe does your church have a sewing machine? You can have the kids sew a long slim sack about a ft. to 18" long with a draw string at the top for plactic grocery bag storage. Cigar boxes also are cool for decorating. If you can get a bunch of cheap coffee mugs I bet you can do the paper decorating and urethiane on them also. I'll keep thinking of kid stuff. Oh heres another one, they can make kitty toys with a stick string and feathers tied and glued on the end of the string.

How old are the kids?
I have seen some really cute crafts done by kids.
I think no matter how old the kids could make snowmen made from a white sock.
OR rice bags are a lot of fun and easy to make and easy to sell. Also wallpaper fans.
If you want more info please get with me.
