Kale, the box says creamy whie brushed with hot red. I will see when it blooms. I hope it is bi-color pink like Double Delight should be. If not I will be on my treasure hunt again. I am going back to Sam's and look through the roses to see what I can find since I know where they have them. They were in a bad place with 3 advertisers with tables blocking them in.

I currently have a Tropicana but love it so much decided to get another for my new rose garden. I had a Mr Lincoln and Pink Peace and loved them so but lost them in the spring ice storm a few years ago. I am most excited about the La Ville De Bruxelles. It is my first Damask....can't wait to smell it!! Also can't wait to post actual pictures of these beauties from my garden.

Kale, the only one I have on your want list is the Pristine....its white with a hint of pink. It is very delicate looking. I love mine and would recommend it. Here is a picture of mine.

If my memory is serving me correctly...it smells very yummy. I tend to confuse its fragrance with garden party....probably because they are neighbors in my garden. One has a slight fragrance and the other is strong and can't remember which is which...sorry.

I tell you..Sometimes I wonder if you are an invisible Angel living in my house!*LOL
I was thinking and planing the very same thing..actually I started then had 5 million other things to do *LOL I may have emailed it to myself with a reminder not that I will either open and forget about or open at a later day and forget about.
Oh well.I guess I need a child to follow me around reminding me of everythign that needs to e done.

As far as Pristine I was tempted but ..voted against it. Last year J K F invited the JB and it was a challenge I didn't need, I had others I needed to tend that early in the morn*LOL

My Garden Party is very heavenly scented indeed! It is next to Double Delight in the front and 2 roses over in the back.

I'l post my plan later But I have to say now YOu have so many of the same roses I do I can't even believe it!

Kale, I got my roses at Kmart, Walmart, and Menard's. Sorry not finding a picture of the garden party....I will try to get some pics when it blooms. I could of swore I had pictures of it....but where are they?? I need to check Aldi's yet, then I will be done with the bareroot. I got a gift certificate from a garden center from my brother plus the same center sent me a $5 gift card for my bday...so I may go there and buy one of their over priced grafted roses...lol!! What I would like to get is another fairy shrub rose in a different color....maybe yellow. I was talking to this man residing at the nursing home that grew roses for many years and he said he has a cure for the japanese beetles....he couldn't remember at the time, but promised he would write it down when he did remember so he could share with me on my next visit...bless his heart. If he does remember...I will share it with you all.

Here's a couple of my blooms this morning. The first one is Altissimo, a prolific bloomer and the 2nd and 3rd are Red Radrazz Knockout. The new growth on my knockout is oh so pretty.

SmellyMelly, I will have a few question on the climbing Tropicana soon.I am not certain what to do with this climber.
And not sure if my writing was a little confusing..
Sorry, always very tired by the time I get online.
I'll explain.The lists were what they (each Store had at time of posting)

If someone wanted me to Choose the best they have, buy and ship at their cost. A simple favor from me to you.
It would just cost me travel and waiting at Post Office and you in turn will have a rose you WANT! Not sure how much shipping would be. But I can pack well in a box with popcorn.

I sure wish I could find roses here in my area for $2.99. Last year a HD that was is close to The Wellness center where I went for PT had $2.99 1 gallon knockout roses but only had one left when I went there. I kept going back every other day for a week or more and they never got any more. I asked a worker if they were getting more and if the sale for still on he thought they were getting more and that the price was still on. No luck that time.

Dor, they were 1.99-2.99 from 2001, that is how I bought so many*LOL
Last year was a high year 3.99 but after a week or so they went down to 1.99 which is when I bought even more over the many .
this year I paid $4.49 & $5.00 and one Gene Bourner @ $6.00 could have gotten the 5.00 one but the dollar was worth a class higher*lol and many at $2.99.

I have to come up with a wonderful plan on where oh where my roses are going to go.
I have to have it in order (plans) I still have to paint my house fence garage and neighbors side garage that is in my garden.Most is scraped.. Waiting on the funds*LOL
The $ I spent on roses was all gifted, I refused to save it for bills,I have been doing it for 30years.
I am celebrating my birthday *LOL (that was a good one huh?)

I Love Roses I do not really buy other plants (unless .25 to about a 1.00 for perennials) I trade plants/seed etc..

Kale, I bought my Tropicana climer bareroot...it was suppose to be sterling silver tea rose. There is nothing for it to climb on where I planted it so I keep it cut back. I kind of want to move it around front so it can climb up the porch pillar but not alot of sun out there and its so healthy where it lives may just let it be and keep whacking it back. I have not had alot of luck getting what I believed I was getting with the bareroot. Its okay because once they bloom I get to research and find what they really are. I had a Sunsprite and LOVED it. Lost it in that nasty spring ice storm and have never found another....you have got to get that one!! Don't know if you will have trouble with the JB with it...I didn't. They seem to really like my Blue Girl. I'm going to the nursing home tomorrow...hopefully my rose guy there will remember his JB cure. And yes, yes, yes I did have a birthday in March. It was the bestest BD ever....I finally got my tiller....its second hand but new to me!! Its a troybuilt and runs like a dream.Its not too big or too small...its just the right size (Goldie Locks). I also got 114 Glad bulbs.....where oh where will I put them....they're not the hardy kind so will have to be lifted in the fall so want them to be in a raised bed and there is no room in my Cannas and Dahlia beds. I don't think I have it in me to make a new one. I may just have to give up my WS baby bed and put them somewhere else. I may just trench around the trees and dump them in....there are already big mulched circles around the trees so wouldn't have to worry about mowing them over and the trees aren't really big enough to create much shade. I got so much work to do and winter is back...suppose to be 60 on Easter though.
