10 slices of bread ( crusts removed ) butter bread
1lb. sausage
1 and one half cups schredded Chedder Cheese
onion ( optionial )
six eggs (beaten )
2 cups half & half
one-half t.salt


grease backing dish
crumble sausage and brown with onion - drain grease
spread over bread
spread cheeze over sausage
beat egg & mix with half & half
pour that over cheese
refridgerate covered with saran wrap overnight
take out of fridge and let set for about 45 min.
bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. ( remove wrap before baking )
let sit for 15 min.before cutting

had this dish a long time ago, and it was great!!! can you can use egg beaters to cut some C out of the dish......or use chicken/turkey sausage....?
