The other woodpecker that we have in this area is the northern flicker. Here are a couple of them on the deck, the male and female.

did you take the pictures? They are great. I can never seem to get a picture of a bird.
 
Yes, I take all the pictures. I only post my pictures, saves any problems. Thanks for looking at them.
 
We have them here also along with the Downy Woodpecker, but I don't think we get the Pileated.
