Here's a beauty I brought with me from the city!
It is a Fanleaf Viola!
It's doing great here growing in almost pure sand, in light shade!

And it is very well behaved! I have never seen any seed cases in all the years I've had this pretty! I need to divide it every other year, or I find the centre dies out as it grows outwards from the centre!
This behavior is very unlike the invasiveness of the native violets!!! They spread seeds everywhere even without the need of flowering!
