To garden properly, it's important to have the appropriate tools. Here is a list of essential gardening tools: So I equipped my team with:

  • Shovel: for digging holes and moving dirt.
  • Rake: for leveling the ground and removing debris.
  • Watering can: for watering plants.
  • Gardening gloves: to protect hands from scratches and cuts.
  • Pruner: for trimming branches and stems.
  • Spade: for digging and turning soil.
  • Hose: for watering plants more efficiently and quickly.

Make sure to have these tools before starting your gardening. Good luck!

I have a question, could you tell me what type of Apron you recommend?

While wandering around, I saw some blank lower aprons on the website ClubTina. What do you think about them?

The equipment needed for gardening can vary depending on the type of gardening you plan to do, but here are some basic tools and equipment that are commonly used for gardening:

  1. Gloves: Gardening gloves protect your hands from thorns, splinters, and other hazards while working in the garden.
  2. Trowel: A trowel is a small hand-held tool used for digging small holes, planting seedlings, and removing weeds.
  3. Pruners: Pruners, or hand-held shears, are used for trimming and shaping plants, removing dead branches, and harvesting produce.
  4. Watering can or hose: Watering plants is essential for their growth and health. A watering can or hose can be used to deliver water to plants.
  5. Rake: A rake is used for leveling soil, removing debris, and collecting fallen leaves.
  6. Wheelbarrow: A wheelbarrow is a handy tool for moving heavy items, such as soil, mulch, or plants.
  7. Shovel: A shovel is used for digging larger holes, moving soil, and transplanting plants.
  8. Garden fork: A garden fork is useful for turning soil, aerating compost, and breaking up clumps of soil.
  9. Hoe: A hoe is used for cultivating soil, removing weeds, and shaping beds.
  10. Pruning saw: A pruning saw is used for cutting larger branches and stems.
These are just some of the basic gardening tools and equipment. Depending on the size and scope of your gardening project, you may need additional tools, such as a tiller, cultivator, or power tools.

Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) is a popular houseplant that is relatively easy to propagate. Here are the steps to propagate pothos:

  1. Choose a healthy pothos plant: Look for a healthy pothos plant with long vines and several leaves.
  2. Cut a vine: Use clean, sharp scissors or pruning shears to cut a healthy vine from the pothos plant. The vine should have at least two leaves and be about 4-6 inches long.
  3. Prepare the cutting: Remove any leaves from the bottom 2 inches of the vine. If desired, you can dip the cut end of the vine in rooting hormone powder to encourage root growth.
  4. Plant the cutting: Plant the cutting in a pot filled with moist potting soil. Make a small hole in the soil with your finger or a pencil and gently insert the cutting. Press the soil around the cutting to hold it in place.
  5. Care for the cutting: Keep the soil moist, but not too wet, and provide the cutting with bright, indirect light. The cutting should develop roots in a few weeks and begin to produce new leaves.
You can plant pothos cuttings at any time of year, but it's best to do so in the spring or summer when the plant is actively growing. This will give the cutting the best chance of rooting and developing into a healthy plant. Once the cutting has rooted and started to produce new growth, you can transplant it into a larger pot or plant it in a hanging basket to enjoy its trailing vines.
