Yesterday I started removing the grass from the area where plants should go.
Last year my hubby did that, but if you just leave it be, that's no good
So I challenged myself to take all the grass out and today I asked my son to help and now the area is almost clear. I'm planting things there like roses, poppies, columbine... and more to come. I have to work fast, otherwise the cats and dogs continue using it as a litter box.
Then I removed all the dead branches of the syringa, well, the largest, my son did.
I also got rid of a dead buddleia AND removed a lot of dead branches of another one.
So now I feel like I did a lot of training at the gym and ...the end of the tunnel is nowhere to be seen...But I'm stubborn, very stubborn.
O yes, my wisteria is starting to bloom, so pretty!
