Slowly warming up....will definitely going to have a Green Christmas!

It's been bitter cold here the past few days, lows 12 highs 20 but it's warming up come tomorrow Sunday and Xmas week will be high 30s low 40s, so good for traveling over the holidays with no snow or rain.

Most of the snow and ice melted yesterday.....today's winds and temp should finish off what's left!

Not much snow left! Just a bit in shaded areas! The warm up continues...probably until New Years Day with just a few short blips!

Yesterday was a quite calm day....started off with fog, thick at times, but cleared out by late morning! Hit 43 with sunny skies!
Thick heavy fog rolled in by late afternoon and it's still foggy this morning, though not as thick!

36 foggy with a faint breeze out of the east...should see some sun before clouds roll back in...windchill 30.
45 this afternoon with cloudy conditions and drizzle...light winds out of the east...windchill 41.
45 this evening with drizzle...winds shift out of the SW 13 mph....windchill 39.
45 overnight with showers...winds SW 16 mph...windchill 37.
45 by morning with more drizzle....winds SW 14 mph...windchill 39.
 
Well, we didn't get any drizzle or rain yesterday....just mostly cloudy with moments of hazy sunshine.
No snow left even in the shaded areas this morning!

Got up to 51 yesterday with hazy sunshine late morning and early afternoon...then it changed over to cloudy skies!

36 this evening...cloudy conditions...light winds shift around out of the NE..windchill 36.

Possible snow by New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!
 
The Texas Low is moving in!
Expecting a total of 1 inch, but could be higher with heavy downpours!
Nice thing is we won't have to shovel it! :)
Looks like we will get some snow New Year's Eve and New Year's Day....maybe a few inches!
There is no Deep Freeze in the forecast..at least not for this coming week...temps well above normal!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, our weather was amazing the entire week in the 40s, so great for all traveling. Big storm coming here tonight, should be rain for us if the weather stays at 40, but a cold front is coming so maybe ice or snow, which I hope doesn't happen, but will up north of albany NY. The storm is supposed to stay around until Tuesday morning, then clear up, happy new year, if I don't get back on.
 
Hi Woodie! We have the same system and only getting rain! Looks like we got around an inch+ and it is not quite done yet...expecting isolated showers this morning and afternoon! Wind Warning was issued this morning....could see 60+ mph winds this morning as a cold front moves in! Possible snow this evening, overnight and into tomorrow....looks like New Year's Day will be around 32 and mostly sunny!

48 already here with light rain...winds out of the south...gusting to 25+ mph...windchill 37....now it's sunny!!

This all depends on when the cold front passes through and how cold it is behind it....as well as wind directions!

The we start to warm up again! Thursday!!
 
Happy New Year Ron. we had pouring rain yesterday, then by 3pm the temps dropped and got sleet, lateron during the night got snow. nothing much tho. today is cloudy and 40. we will stay at those temps for the rest of the week, altho they are talking some snow tonight. but that wont stop the ball in NYCity from dropping! keep warm and have a great 2020
