I just bought 4 live plants of the red so I won't need those seeds. How fast do these plants grow from seed? Will I be able to establish a plant to make it though the winter? If not, I will just wait until spring to get seeds. Thank ya'll so much for all this help!

Thanks for these suggestions. I should have specified this is a small area! Only 18ft. long 8ft. deep along the side of the house. I just read somewhere else about bottle brush plant. Anyone have experience with this plant?

I was pretty sure they wouldn't bloom this year, but hopefully next. The plants I bought are 6-10 inches tall. When should they be fertilized and what is the best fertilizer for them? I have a ton of pine mulch so that shouldn't be a problem overwintering. Thanks so much for your response!

I love flowers too much! Grasses seem boring sometimes. I had pink pampas, it was pretty just spread too much. My beds are only 15ft. wide and 8ft. deep in a half circle. I need to get a bang for the space!

Thanks so much! I love the idea of trellises. I just bought some purple and white clematis for another area of the yard where I tore down morning glories. They just reseed eveywhereand I got tired of them! Bought some angel trumpets for my specific reason of this post. Hopefully I will...

What lilies bloom all year? I have asiatics that bloom late summer and daylilies , but don't get tall. I have purple cone flowers and blackeyed susan, but they don't put on enough of a show for me. Thanks for the response!
