Its fun to listen to music while you are working in or outside..we have a stereo in the garage w/really good speakers that covers the back yard very well ;)

Wolfie..I keep my peat pellets damp. If ya have some good sun...stick them outside to catch some "rays" ☼

I agree! If my mints grow outside their area I either dig up & transplant somewhere else or freecycle.
The mint is by the deck step so when you walk on or off the deck and brush against it or the wind blows...its sooo nice to smell :)

My boss uses the super thrive at the lawn & garden store I work seasonal at .He gets great results, the flowers/plants are always healthy & beautiful...he says its "his secret" ;)
I bought some last yr & misplaced it packing up summer..hope it re-appears! I do that MIS-placing alot...

I start lots of my seeds with the jiffy seed starting pellets, especially the sunflowers but have luck w/most I have tried this way. After you follow directions w/pellets & add seed..just put them in trays & sit outside and let nature have it's way (water if needed of course) When ya...

Dor we always buy cucumber plants for our garden. We get the bush cucumber, takes up less space.

My daughter tried the topsy turvy last year and was Ok w/her results, they need watered alot. She will try again she says.

My trumpet vine is in full sun and about 5 yrs old now. We "pole-trained" it so it hasn't spread out..just UP! Have gotten lots of blooms and hummingbirds :)

I do plan on adding some climbing Roses : Peace, Don Juan & Pinata. Also winter-sowed and got some starts of FoxGlove, Red Salvia and Hyancinth Bean purple & white...among others. Of course our veg garden will be added much later w/corn, lettuce, tomatoes, zuchinni, sugar peas,green beans...
