    A triple mix is usually one part each of peat moss, compost (can contain composted manure from cattle and or sheep), and loam (can be black loam) Might be easier just to make your own since the composition depends on availability of ingredients! It'll be a lot cheaper for you too!

    What comes to mind is perhaps a triple mix! Mix it well with the some of the existing soil from the hole you dig! The organic matter should give it a kick start!

    Paul, Good question. The only way to know for sure is to dig around the one you want to move....go around 12-14 inches and sever any surface roots...dig down a good 12-14 inches, then you can lift the plant out....you may have a problem with roots that go downwards...carefully sever these...

    Hi Paul! Interesting shrub/tree! From the info you gave and with my experience with shrubby suckering woody plants I found that they are invasive by way of suckering. and probably sending out long subsurface roots! Are you sure you want to deal with a species that will not stay put?
