    Hello JHrusky. I would be concerned over the long term use of treated lumber too. You could use a liner inside the raised beds to prevent contamination of the soil. I'd do some research on which liner would be best for the long term.

    Hello Jennah. Yes, wooding is normal as the plant ages....the yellowing of older lower leaves is also normal. Time to start new plants with cuttings....they are easy to root in water...once they develop a few roots you can pot them up.

    Hello Xabori. Good case of spider mites....there are 1,200 species of them... There are a few miticides available to kill and control them....but a home made solution works just a s well....you will need a spray bottle, fill with warm water...add a few drops of liquid dish soap and a few drops...

    Looks sad! All Hydrangeas require a few things to be happy: Partial shade....meaning early morning sun, then light shade the rest of the day. They also require moist soil most of the time....They hate dry soil! It would be a good idea to move it to a shaded area on your property.

    Woodie! We have had pretty much the same here with ups and downs....we begin a long stretch of hot and humid conditions. Not sure how intense it will become, but we will survive it! Highs in the mid to high 80's with humidex readings in the high 90's to 100+!

    Hi Ruth! Welcome to our forum! Looks like you have the knowledge on what to do, you just need to fine tune it. Early to mid morning sun is ideal. Since the pots are small the soil will dry out quickly so watering will be a priority. Let the soil dry out a bit, then rewater. I'd say water well...
