    Hey Jbaby you are right! I heard this from a fellow gardener who warned me because I am a smoker. I now go out front to smoke. The tomatoes can get tobacco mosiac virus from the smoke. And thanks crabbergirl, that makes more sense!

    What kind of theme gardens does everyone have?

    I decorated my garden in ladybugs with a little bit mushrooms, ants and whatever else I can find. I decided to go with a simple and afforable theme apart from all the fancy gardens! I also have this amazing angel that glows in the dark! So pretty!

    Garlic Spray

    For my organic garden I boil a gallon of hot water and put in about 3 or 4 cloves of garlic and let it sit overnight. You can use a spray bottle and spray this mixture on all your plants' leaves, not the fruit or veggie! It works wonders and pests hate the garlic!

    Tomato Favs

    I always get stuck with Better Boy for some reason. Whenever I go to walmart and pick up a tomato plant it is always Better Boy, maybe they just look the best! I also have Goliath this year and I successfully grew about 10 from seed! So I have about 22 tomato plants. Enough for canning!!!!
