    Any advise on tall bellflowers

    I figured out what my unidentfied babies were. Campanula Americana. Tall Bellflower. Has anyone had these.? I understand they are biennial, like shade, will they grow in the sun? Any advise would be helpful. The seeds came from Prarie Moon.

    Ok I figured it out it is campanula Americana, seeds from Prarie Moon. Its the tall Bell flower, a biennial, Gets 5 feet, wants shade, blue flowers.

    I do get alot of shade and alot of leaves and beech nuts in the fall.

    The Shed...or, you might be a redneck if...

    If you look down my driveway in front of the garage, your first thought might be white trash. I have 4 big cat litter buckets hanging upside down from an 8 foot tall wooden rack David made for me. I'm trying the upside down tomato plants. 2 of the buckets are yellow, 2 are white.

    A few of the trees in my yard are more than 150 years old, The gray trunk is a beech and the other is a maple. I planted sedum around the roots of the maple. Thats my golden, Zack in the pictures.

    Another Wildflower

    Looking in the National Audubon Society field guide to wildflowers, eastern region it looks like ox eye daisy. Our fleabane petals are much thinner. Do you get ox eye daisy in the south?

    Carrots

    Oh my gosh, carrots are so easy here, I always think when I start harvesting, what a gift. Wish I could keep them for the whole year. Just thin them out to about 3 inches apart.

    Have you ever done something really stupid?

    my X who was in an executive posisition once went to work with a black tie dress shoe, and and brown slip on loafer didn't realize until a co-worker pointed out to him at lunch time he had 2 different shoes on. He got dressed in the dark that morning.

    I lost 15 years worth of dozens of varieties of bearded iris due to iris borers, I still can't plant them in my beds. Some years I have slug problems, not recently, I buy the ortho slug bait and that helps.
