Thanks, Marie Well, doesn't sound like the greatest living conditions, but maybe ok. With her vision trouble (and the other stuff wrong!) maybe 1 room is somewhat safer for her. I was wondering why she was there, didn't realize it was to be near her kiddos.

So, Marie...please bring me up to date...Herby finally found a decent place to live? I've lost track of her living conditions. i'm glad she has you to befriend her. You'll have to post a pic of that quilt.
Nat...wow, 15. Where did THAT time go? It's hard for me to believe my baby will be 21...

You are awesome!!
The Girls have asked me several times if you quit...but I was afraid to mention it and mess things up for you. They will be proud! Yesterday was 1 year for Pam!

Honestly, I think the guy just thought I was stupid to care about chickens. Everyone around me lets their dogs run loose...they believe it is their right because we live in the "country". I always contained my pets as I do NOT share the belief it is okay for my pet to bother others.
But...if...

My ex handled this dog in a not nice way He knew how the kids and I loved the chickens. He didn't know who the dog belonged to. I did. When I called the guy (lived about a half mile away) he got all mouthy with me. The chickens were inside a pen...but it was my fault his dog killed them...

I loved having chickens. We raised a little Silky lady and she followed us like a puppy. Her feathery feet looked like house shoes! If you sat down outdoors, she would fly up in your lap and just talk and talk. She met and married and old retired fighting cock and they had 6 babies...3 like her...

Good deal, Randy. You made short work of that coop.
We got about an inch of "no accumulation expected". Sun will make quick work of it.
Got to see my unborn grandson in a 4-D ultrasound yesterday. He smiled, stuck his tongue out, and...

So....how long does it take for the shells to decompose? Are the tender roots strong enough to break out? I'm blond, by the way.

It goes both ways. There are persnickity postal people but it is also a harder job than most think. I remember a young woman used to expect me to hand deliver her food stamps(back when we did this)...she would not walk out to my vehicle when I blew the horn. She had mean dogs and toddlers all...

Oh, I hear you. My postmaster was just ... oblivious, I guess. I transferred offices and lost 4 years senority by doing so at his advice that I would retain senority. Then, the new office had a postmaster with a year left til retirement and he basically could not have cared less about much of...

I must admit I love one canned soup. Campbell's classic chicken noodle is the best tasting soup I've ever had...homemade or otherwise. I eat it for lunch about every day and can't seem to get sick of it.
I remember my son finding a nasty looking vein in his roast beef hotshot at a restaurant...
