Here are some shots of my McCartney, Grandiflora. It has just been loaded with roses this year. They smell heavenly!! Had to end up dusting it because something was nibbling the leaves...it must taste as good as it smells.

Yucky...sorry about your daughter's flu bug...I hope you didn't end up with it!! Seems I always ended up with it when my son would get it when he was small.

They felt the quake all the way down to Columbus. I felt nothing but they claimed to have felt it in some of the skyrises. I have some friends in Cleveland and they said they felt it. This is further proof to my theory that the sky is falling in , chicken little :p

Hi Eric
I live in central Ohio. Did you feel that quake the other day? I'm also growing peppers but my big love is flowers. My new thing this year is the hydrandeas...playing with the ph level to change their colors...science and gardening is fun!!! Welcome!!!

Get a rugosa or a knock out...I also have a fairy that requires very little care. At the rate I am losing them over winter...that is all I will have left.

We have bing cherry trees and ours have been loaded with cherries since the first year but we have to move quickly to collect them or the birds will get them all. Our peach tree on the otherhand was loaded the first year and now we only get a few. The tree nursery told us we needed at least...

This Tea is Ronald Reagan...my favorite President :)

Here is my Rugosa rose, Therese Bugnet. This rose is so hardy...I love it...it also gets interesting rose hips.

Oh wow...on my mobile it is showing up white with a neon yellow/green center. I have the pink and recognize it once you told me...its really pretty in the white...wish it really was so I could beg for seeds...lol Guess I should just be thankful that I have the pink :)

My rose collection gets smaller every year. I am really enjoying the ones I have left. First one is Livin Easy, Star Roses Floribunda.

Glad you finally got some rain. I have been very fortunate this year with the rain. After working all day I only have about five hours so it bums me about when I have to use three watering. Its also not good to water in the evening but you gotta do what you gotta do. I wish we were all...

SL...You must have a special touch because I have tried that so many times with no luck. I have almost given up on my roses...I use to have so many and each winter I would lose some. I am down to around ten. The knock outs are surviving though...I really don't think you can hurt them :)
