    What's the weather in your area? 2016 Edition

    The day started out with rain then stopped about mid morning until early evening then started again. That was okay though as it gave me a few hours to roll the table saw out and start cutting out some pieces for a project. Our high for the day was about 52 degree.

    The day started off nice but the clouds were already building before noon and the rain started about that time. It has increased in intensity through the day and is currently moderately heavy. The temperature isn't too bad though at 45 degrees.

    Wow, Janet, that's better than we got even though we had a beautiful day here today. I don't know for sure what the temperature was in Newberg today but I heard on the radio that it was 63 or 62 in Hillsboro which is about 26 miles to the north of us. I reveled in the sunshine too.

    We had frost last night but our sky was clear and bright until mid afternoon when some clouds started building. We got up to 56 degrees which was really nice.

    I don't know what our high temperature was for the day but right now it is 44 degrees and raining. It rained most of the day here mostly light rain with a few heavy showers.

    It was cloudy all day with a high in the mid 50s. The rain held off until about 4:00 pm.

    We didn't make it to 60 degrees today, but it was close. We made it to 59. There was some light rain this morning but that stopped about 10:00. The clouds hung around though for the rest of the day.

    We still had a lot of clouds today but the temperature did make it up to 60 degrees.

    I will stay in for most of the weekend too because of the rain but I will stick my nose out once in awhile. We will be staying in the 40s and 50s so it won't be too bad.

    What a gorgeous land you live in. We had filtered sunshine today but we still managed to get up to 60 degrees.

    Yesterday our high temp was 62 degrees. I think we only made it to 59 degrees today but it was still a beautiful day. If there were any clouds I didn't notice them.

    It was dry most of the day but started raining lightly just as I stepped out the back door to take a little walk. It was 52 degrees.

    We had some heavy rain this morning but that stopped and it turned into a fairly nice day. Sunshine was filtered and sparse but it still got up into the mid 50s.

    We have been staying above the frost level but not by much. It got up to 44 degrees here during the day though. Clouds were almost solid so it stayed chilly.

    We had a lot of clouds but enough holes to see some blue on occasion. We did get some rain but the day was dry most of the time.

    We had rain overnight and this morning but it stopped and then partially cleared and we got some sunshine. With that, we had a high of almost 60 degrees.

    Raised Garden Beds....

    In our last home, I made my own using cedar 2 x 12 boards with 4 x 4 corners to hold them together, I made 4 of the that were four feet wide by eight feet long. It took quite a bit of soil to fill them up. In fact, I didn't fill them completely. I left about four inches of space at the top.

    It is 54 degrees outside now at 9:00 PM. I went outside briefly to walk around our circular driveway. There were some clouds but it was still somewhat sunny.

    We had a pretty day here today. There were a few clouds but not enough to impair the sun from shining through. Our high for the day was 52 degrees.
