    I like about half snaps and half shelled. The Pink Eyed Purple hull peas are good but Dixie Lee is my favoroite. I want be picking peas for another week or so.

    Lisa don't think that is a good idea. The vine is where the nutrients come from. Can you not turn the runners back into the designated area? That is what I would do to keep the vines contained to a certain area.

    Saving Pepper Seeds

    I use a plastic type paper plate so the seeds don't stick as bad. Pepper seeds are easy to save. I do make sure the peppers are real ripe on the bush before I pick them.

    Dor that is great!!! My cucumber and squash bushes are looking rough. Still getting some cukes and squash but not like I was. My tomato picking is getting good. Small watermelons on my bushes now.

    The Bluegrass Bunch

    I downsized my garden this year and for that I am thankful. It's stressful enough with our smaller garden this year. We have had an abundance of rain this spring. With today being the last day of spring maybe drier weather will soon be on the horizon.

    Dave that is interesting. Can't remember all I learned when I researched the potato seeds couple of years ago. I would leave the seed pods on the plant just as long as I can to make sure they are fully matured.
