Randy, I liked that she didn't add a lot of Cilantro to the recipe. I'm not a big fan of Cilantro and the amount in hers added just enough flavor that it wasn't overwhelming. I also like mild salsa so her recipe was perfect for me.
Have you ever made cherry Jam???

That first pic was taken 2 days ago..there's more blooms now so here's a couple more views..I'm so proud.:)

Back when there was that G-here forum.. a few of us had an addiction to adeniums and shared seeds and plants. I never had a lot of luck. I started over a dozen plants from seeds just to have them die. Well, I managed to save two and here is my very first bloom..I have waited soooo long for this!!!:D

Isn't it exciting when those mators start turning red Nancie??
I've got a few to can tonight and that's it till the later ones are ready.
Randy, I canned a case (pints) of Salsa using Feona's recipe. It turned out very good.

LOL..Bob should have made it Melissa~ AKA~ Smelly.
OK, I'm making this thread a sticky so it won't be lost down the line of threads..

Gosh..it's really hard to tell what it is. It does look like some type of lily but lily seeds are hard and doesn't come from the inside of the flower. The petals will fall and then a pod forms that contains the seeds..if it produces seeds.

ahhhh..I just sat down after getting corn, okra and tomatoes canned tonight. I started early this morning and canned a case of toms that I had prepared for jarring last night. After harvesting this afternoon, I had another case of toms to can. 30 minutes and they will be done and ready to remove...

There's so many things to do with tomatoes, tom sandwich, stewed, in soups, salsas, salads and lots more. Hubby and I planted around 250 plants. Our first 4 rows are ready and in a few weeks we'll have more. I've been trying to get all the canning done and work a public job too..it's been hard...

Welcome from your neighbor over in SC..glad to have you with us Kallie.

That's a good question Kallie! I've never really thought about how many plants per person. Thinking about it..I'd say it all depends...if you just want a few fresh veggies during the season, you have a good garden. Although, I would have planted a couple more bush beans. I don't know how to...

Oh my....I hate those things!!! I can't for the life of me figure out why such a horrible creature crawls this earth! I am constantly looking hard when I'm outside, especially in the gardens..you've given me reason to look even harder. Glad you're alright Nancie..you are alright aren't you?? I'd...

Very glad your hubby is not being layed off..I know from experience how that feels. Your plant prices are more than reasonable, wish I lived close to you!!
You're right, the economy has people counting pennies these days. I look at things and have to ask myself..do I need this or do I just...

Tomatoes are finicky, too much water will cause the yellowing of the leaves starting at the bottom but not enough and they're still in danger of failing. Water in the early morning or late afternoon. To water while the sun is shining on them can cause the leaves to burn. I've never used soap...

These Robins can be very exciting, you never know what special seeds maybe packed inside. You'll never know if you don't join us..

That's sounds really good Captain..I'm going to try it for the next family get-together. I won't make sweets for me and hubby..he doesn't care for sweets so that leaves the entire thing for me and that's not good!!! LOL
-
Ms Curbie, be careful with that bow and marshmellow arrow....aim careful..that is. I bet your hubby will hide that thing real soon! LOL
RJ still has a CB. Most of the deer hunters around here would have a CB in their vehicles when they hunted with dogs. They were used to keep in contact with...
