    you do not want to place the containers near the heat...or you will have sprouts come up before they should, and they will most likely die...

    the chicken stew sounds soo good, does it feed an army ? LOL sounds like a big recipe, I am going to get the ingred and make it this weekend also, thanks ! I am the type of person that needs to follow a recipe, atleast until I get comfortable making the food...then Ill change it up.

    I have been wanting to make stew...but dont have a good recipe....anyone willing to share one ? I know, I can go on the recipe sites, but I want to know someone actually has made it, and likes it.

    Compost anyone?

    you had to take the /off the address...I had trouble too, but my kids wanted to decorate the tree...so once I got into the site, I had to go and be with them...sure wish I could of done the chat... thanks for all the info on composting...is there any food ya cant put in...and I have a rabbit...

    ok, I have to admit...I would love to learn about composting, but just the thought overwhelms me...so can you all help a "newbie" to composting...I dont even know where to start...I ve been wanting hubby to make a compost bin...we do pile alot of stuff in a spot in the yard...but id like to use...

    Weed Garden?!

    I have an area we call the woodland area...and I am trying to put wildflowers around it..to allow the animals a safe place to go, and to enjoy looking at...the wildflowers seem to need less water, and really put on a show. I hope you will take some pics next summer, would love to see it

    I plan to start mine right after the holidays. I still have some containers from last season, and I found a friend that wants to do it together. I think it is imprortant to have the 3-5 inches of dirt, so the dirt stays warm enough...and it gives the roots a good area to grow. Last season...
