We had a sunny day today. I think it hit about 40
Glad the wind is gone, felt like Jan with the wind yesterday, it was awful, so glad I didn't lose power

We didn't get any snow, downeast is in a blizzard, we still have 50 mph winds and it's freezing

Sunny and 28 here I don't think we are going to have a spring this yr.

Who has a curbie xmas pickle? I do and I know she sent a lot of them out.
Everytime I look at it, I think of her. She also sent me a gardening snow
globe when I lost my grammie. She was a very thoughtful person and
will be missed on here. Some days she kept the forum very lively......

I've got some volunteer tomato plants coming up in some compost that I brought inside. Going to start some tomato and pepper plants this coming week along with some perennial seeds. Want to grow a big garden this yr and can and freeze it.

It was almost 50 here yesterday, beautiful day it was

It was minus 5 this am when I left for work @ 6:45am. BRRR tired of this cold winter, we haven't had one like this in years... Suppose to be sunny and 40's for Sat cool off Sun

I made a box out of 2x4's and chicken wire then used hinges and put a top on made out of chicken wire and wood

Cloudy this am as we are suppose to have some snow this am
Back to the deep freeze for a few days then 40's by the end of the week

got to 50 here today, if the sun was out it would have been in the 60's come on spring.....

Maybe put them in something with plastic around it to keep them warmer. Wow I thought 62 is chilling for my house but 50 that is too chilly for me. I start mine in the windows too. I have some maters growing in my spare room and the temp is out 55 at night and they are growing good

I called Curbie this am and Mike answered the phone finally and he said she got sick of the Garden forum and she had a stroke on Dec 6th and was in the hospital for a month and it will be at least a yr to fully recoop.
Thanked me for calling and said to pass the word that she is ok.
