    What companies/catalogs have you bought plants/seeds from?

    Brecks bulbs are great although I haven't had much luck with their perennials. I have good luck with Springhill plants. Good to know about Blooming Bulbs as I've seen some great price with them. Dora/Garden Goddess

    Most sources say zone 5 although I have seen a few that say zone 4 for Des Moines, IA. Does wind chill count?? Now that I'm in Iowa I see situations where the actual temp is 20 but wind chill is 0. How does this effect zone rating? Dora/Garden Goddess

    Can you identify my critter??

    Snakes I can handle, what gets me is bugs that are bigger than my big toe. I had a friend in high school that brought home a tarantula and plopped it on his mom's knee. I would have been on the ceiling! Thank goodness my kids never brought on of those home:eek: Dora/Garden Goddess
