    Hi Gardendan, I assume you mean the runners off the parent plant? I don't cut them off until they begin to form roots...then cut away and you have a new plantlet! If you are talking about the leaf part of the plant,then no,don't cut them.

    I do exactly like RonsGarden suggests. In California I would never be able to keep my roses without this solution! We have powdery mildew year round.

    Welcome,rancherguy! Have you talked to your local ag dept.? They should be able to help. Does the field need to go fallow? If it has been producing for years,the soil may be depleated. A green manure would do a world of good in that case. Do you have good bugs around? You can tell alot...

    I bought a package of asparagus bean seeds and a stevia plant. Total at Capital Nursery = $7.00!!! I think I did great on my self restraint.
