I love fried okra also and any way I can make it, my family also. I am going to grow a late crop. I just read mmy ag paper that I can plant three months before our frist frost. I use it in gumbo and okra and tomato also.

I am in zone 9 and grow most of mine in gound. I have three in containers but they don't do as well as they ones in the ground. They need a lot of water and the only fertilizer I use if epsom salt.

I think it will be a gret year Nancie. My tomato plants are loaded. I pick cherry tomato everyday. I have bush green bean that I will need to harvest soon. I've had my first cuc that Mya beat me to. It is so nice to enjoy fresh veggies.
