    The first one could be Sedum 'Frosty morn'. The second one is a euphorbia, be careful getting the sap on yourself. I was cutting back my neighbors one time several years ago and was sweating, wiped the sweat with my hand and ended up in emerg. with a horrible reaction and eyes swollen shut.

    Wow, you must be really heavily mulching because it is considered a zone 9! I thought that my petunias overwintered here and they probably would have if we would have left the leaves on them for another month, but hubby was anxious to do the yard cleanup on the first spring-like days here.

    Blooms in 2010

    Lovely Maggie! I espescially like the daff, the helleborus and the virginia bluebells. Once I get the greenbriar under control in our wooded area I am going to be putting in all of those, but since I am using roundup to try to get it under control I wouldn't want to risk hurting any other babies.

    First Asparagus harvest of the year yesterday

    Our neighbors put in a raised bed with asparagus, I was a little sceptical of it, but did some research online and found out that it a good way to grow it. I think that hubby wants to put in another raised bed, so maybe he should.
