    I have always been told that peppers and eggplant should never be planted above the cotyledons (the first set of leaves right after they germinate).

    Those look like adventitious roots to me, that is a tomato plant, correct? They will often grow roots off of the stems like that.

    As far as yelling at yourself goes, I walk thru all of the garden centers and gardens everywhere by myself and talk the whole time. I had to go back for Bruce when we were at Longwood numerous times because I was afraid that the people in the white coats would come for me.

    Aww, Curbie, you are a pet person for sure. Our two kitties were cell mates at the SPCA, we couldn't take one without the other. I would take one of those blue eyed kitties, but don't know how we could transport her or him. They are sure precious though.

    Where I've been the past few days

    Looks great Blue. Hubby and I worked on the yard for about 4 hours yesterday. This morning we planted our two new cutleaf japanese maples.
