    By the looks of it they are toooooooooooo wet. Just my opinion, but too much water leaches the nutrients right out of the soil. Let them dry out and see what happens.

    From all of the negative feedback that I am getting I may just go with a White Fringe Tree or a Kousa dogwood. I am very torn up having downsized in yard from an acre to 1/3rd acre. I told my hubby in 5 years I want to sell this house and get a tiny house on 3 acres. Hmm, he didn't agree.

    It is hard to say without actually seeing your setup what is going on, but it is better to water first thing in the morning and then let they dry out the rest of the day. I would try to keep your temp. closer to 70 degrees. 78 is really warm unless you are germinating, and then it is still...

    ID Please

    I am still perplexed on this one Kya, that is why I haven't offered an opinion. I don't think that it is russian sage because the leaves are too furry. Maybe a more mature leaf will give us the answer. My mind is saying Pulsatilla, but I am not even sure that is right.

    I would guess too much water Mike. Let them dry out in between waterings. Too much water will cause that Chlorosis (yellowing) that you are seeing in the leaves. Plants are better off too dry than too wet.

    Knockout Roses

    Back to Knockouts....Mine are looking INCREDIBLE this year. I planted 1 gallon pots 2 years ago and now they are full and gorgeous and about 3' around and 3' high. I saw a mature one at a friends house the other week and I would say that it was at least 5 ' around. Amazing things!
