    I have to agree to much water it washes away the nutrients from the soil. you can try and use a little miracle grow to give them back what they have lost, but follow the directions on the container, I use it once in a while on mine just to be sure they are getting what they need.     I 'm recycling my tomato and grape containers, they are now terrariums for which I am starting my Basil seeds in. I lined them with coffee filters to keep the dirt in and so far it's working hope my seeds grow.

    Make a rain barrel easy!

    I just use empty spackle pails, kitty litter pails and put the lids on when they are full to keep out bugs, easy to carry around the yard that way.

    Shasta Daisy - Alaska

    nothing yet, still have some snow here and it's cold today, I did clean up under the bird feed though, what a mess.

    Mt. Vision Garden Center visit for me...

    I tried to get spent plants at walmart last year as they where just sitting there and they said no we can't sell those to you, we have to throw them away. What a shame I thought when I know I can save them but in the dumpster they went, OH!! that's just like walmart.
