Mohawk Picture
Here is the best picture I could get of Mohawk. He doesn't hang around as much now, I think he has a girlfriend. According to a vet that I talked to, birds can get a virus that makes their feathers stand up on their heads. But said that never heard of a robin having it.
Everyone talking about their goods in their gardens and I just got mine planted over the weekend! My radishes just started coming up. Everything else is wait and see.
Min Pins, Miniature Pinschers, they are my doggies. I think rabbits bred every 3 months or something like that. The rabbits eat with the birds. I get bird food with a lot of corn in it. Throw some on the ground for everyone. I gave up trying to keep the rabbits from my flowers.
If it is slugs, just get you some shallow containers and put beer in them. You will have lots of dead slugs come morning or drunk birds. LOL I have done this before and it really worked well for me.

Well I did this and our tree is now 2 yrs old and growing fast. From what I understand it will get apples but won't be granny smith. Will be a few more yrs before I know for sure.
Most peonies are zone 3-8 from what I can tell. If they are just roots I would put them somewhere that is half and half, sun and shade. Maybe some mulch over them to help keep the roots cooler.
Ok going to plant my root veggies tomorrow and the rest on sunday. Weeds in the garden are either dead or dying. Going to do a light tilling in the morning and get going!
I have a new robin that we named mohawk. He has feathers that stand on top of his head. He follows us around the yard. Yesterday hubby was tilling a spot for the new morning glory tower and Mohawk jump right in while he was tilling to get the worms. Then this morning I was out mulching around my...
I am mulching around my tomatoes with red mulch. Last year I had a volunteer come up in my red mulch by the front porch so I just let it grow. I got more tomatoes off that one and it bloomed and lasted a lot longer than my other tomatoes in the garden. So this year I am going to try it in the...
