We did break our record, and set a new one! broke a record for longest stretch with no rain and most hours of sun in July, and set a new record for no rain fall at all in any month in July. We made it by minutes!! it literally started raining just after midnight on August 1. it really cooled us...

I will continue to pray for both of you. I so hope they can find some medication to both stop the cancer and make him feel better. I am sorry you are going through this Maggie, as I said before, with my cancer, the only way it could have been worse, was by it being my husband or other family...

7 gallons of blueberries!!! that is amazing Randy!! I was proud of the little bit I had, it seems to be a really good year for them :) our garden is a small suburban one, so more of a place for the grand kids to go and find something good to eat :)

sunny, about 75F but quite windy! only got down to about 65F last night about the same tonight. no end in sight for this beautiful weather thank goodness. making up for the dreadful late spring we had!!

Weather here is pretty much the same as Randy's! high today was 75F and nights are down to 60-65F tomorrow supposed to be warming up and tuesday into mid 80's, will help my beans get growing!

beautiful weather here, sunny but not too hot, highs 75F-78F 58F-60F overnight. we had our dinner down at the beach tonight with our grand daughters :)

Hot hot hot!! it has come on so suddenly, and yes it has been sooooo humid! everythings been steaming for 2 days! Tomorrow is Canada Day, lot's of festivities in our town of course, but it is going to be so hot, I doubt we will do much other than go to the parade. Although they are going to have...

Still raining here, and it's just warm enough that wearing a jacket makes you sweat. the humidity is so high, I really don't like this much. Usually if it is raining here it is cool. They are saying it is supposed to start clearing out and like Randy's area, get hotter. I promise not to complain...

Well we can't even run away south to escape the rain because it's raining there too! That and the fact our dollar has dropped to only 95 cents to the US dollar, and the price of gas, and trying to figure out how to live on a new budget. sigh.

Not as hot as Randy, but very nice sunny summery weather, highs into the mid 70's. my tomatoes have started growing again :) should be eating peas next week Yay!! (Oregon sugar) and Randy....I have berries forming on my Marrionberry!! :)

glad to hear everyones weather is getting better! we have sun and warm temps today thank goodness! sever thunderstorm last night, someones house got struck by lightening about 5 miles away from us. the thunder was shaking the house!!

Randy ours is the same here. They said we were supposed to get sun back today but it didn't happen. Now they are saying maybe tomorrow. We only made it up to about 56F today. The grass sure likes this weather, I think by the time we can get out there even our big gas powered weed eater is going...
