    Thanks, glad to hear it! For most folks, you really shouldn't notice much difference. The old one was relatively fast too, so this is more for increased capacity as the forum grows and activity picks up.

    Thanks! It's supposed to be fast, about 50% faster than the old one, which was pretty responsive itself.

    Hey, it actually worked! ... err, um, uh... I mean "Of course it worked, I had no doubts." ;) Well, any time you're doing something this major there's always some nervousness on how well it will work and how smoothly it will go, but it seems to have worked just fine.

    If you can read this, you're on the new server! The last major step of the forum was migrating to a new server. It is about twice as fast as the old one, has more bandwidth and should do a great job of delivering forum content. Let me know if you see anything strange going on...

    That’s the one downside of Lavender, hummingbirds don’t seem to like it, at least not my local ones. I wonder if the shape isn’t right or something?

    Bees of all kinds love Lavender. It blooms for most of the summer in the Pacific Northwest and bees are constantly flying to my bushes. I get both honeybees and bumblebees in large numbers, along with butterflies and moths on occasion. Some bee keepers even make a special lavender honey.

    Bob's bonus plant - 11. Lavender - It blooms all summer long and bees can't get enough of it. When I water mine, I gently mist it at first and it's common to see 20 or 30 bees fly out of the way in mild annoyance as I water.
