Todays insect, Scaeva pyrastri, won't post spiders as many don't like them, and also they are not insects.

The most deadly in the world is a plain looking cream color and is also an amanita, Amanita phalloides. Available in North America if you have a need for it. :D :D

We usually have a little snow each winter. I take a few pictures of the birds. Our snow this year has gone now.

Todays mushroom is a great looking mushroom, one of the poison ones, Fly Agaric, Amanita Muscaria.

I have a small web site with just the birds using the water dishes and a bath. There are over 20 species. I find it easier to put the pictures on a page rather than post 30 odd pictures. I don't think I'm allowed to post web sites.

No one into bugs either, I was going to show one a day, all taken in the garden too.
-
They are two great looking birds that we don't see out this way. Do you have any pictures?
-
For todays fungi we have Poison Pie, Hebeloma crustuliniforme, this one was in a lawn.

Utah picked the seagull because they saved the crops when locusts were devouring everything in sight.
-
Glad you liked the ducks, they are one of the best.
-
I really like taking images of fungi. Thought I would try to put one in each day. If there is some other place where I should put them, let me know. This one is, Arched Earthstar, Geastium fornicatum. Will try to put in some that are a little different.

I have all the state trees in a web site ,(I didn't take all the pictures though) I need three to complete the page if anyone would like to help. AK, MN, and Wyoming. Loblolly pine, Pinus taeda, Red pine, and the Plains cottonwood. I give credit to the photographer. Any part of the tree will do.
