    Planting in Tires

    I have known some folks who plant potatoes in tires (adding soil each tire high) & when its time to harvest they just take tires off..no digging needed. I just may try this myself.

    Curby..I use my decorated bowling balls in my flower gardens. Use tubing or a piece of wood or whatever to set it on so its visible...really shimmers when the sun shines & is a great conversation starter ;) Can't find pics of 2 favorites..still looking. Kya..did you marble 1? Beautiful...

    All my crafty ideas are in my head and that's as far as I have gotten this winter. I still have about 6 bowling balls to play with...hmmmm...I need glue next trip to town I guess. Will paint a few weather permitting..in March? Have quite a few gourds to clean & paint also. What am I waiting...

    Is it too late to start winter sowing now? I am zone 5. I did winter sow last year and had about 50% success..can't remember when to start,:eek: geeezz?! Reading all the older posts here has given me some GREAT help/info that I admit to needing, THANKS :)
