Laurie I alway make baked Sweetpatotes. As you did I poke a bunch of holes in them and then Micro wave them for about 8 or 9 minutes, I eat them with a bunch of butter, and love them.

Mainie I always made them with Canned sweet potatoes. Just empty the can in a baking dish add some brown sugar and cover the top with the mini marshmellows and heat them in the oven. UM UM good.

Dor I don't think anything dies in zone 9 lol I would love to garden in an area where you can keep a garden going through out the year. The winter before last I kept the the potatoes in their pots hoping they would come back the next season, but it didn't happen. I love the SP vines in hanging...

Laurie those little buggers must have been hungry. I dont know what you can do, did they strip the bark all the way around the burning bush? maybe if there is some bark left it will repair itself. I hope somebody checks in with help.

Kya I always thought Baking Powder was a refined type of Baking soda and that maybe people changed from the soda to the powder for some reason. At one point I decided to mix the amount of powder with soda, I really didn't see any difference in the results.

Spide you sure have a lot of blooms in your beautiful gardens. I love spring blooming trees and shrubs. The land scapes are still bleak here but I know everything will be blooming in a couple of weeks. Spring is here and it so great to know that another winter has passed.

Randy I have the Out of Ireland movie, it is an old one as my mother recorded it and she passed away in 1993. I hope you can find Da as it is also a very old film. But well worth the search.
