Kale--just checked my calendar----planted mine(tomatoes & peppers) on the 9th of April. Going to try to find my journal from last year and see how long it took. I;m quite sure most of my seeds didn't take this long before. I do remember it always took the pepper seeds longer to...

Think there is a little misunderstanding--:)
The container of "dutch-gel" is about $1 MORE than what you would pay for a box of "Sure-Jel"---------BUT you get about 9 batches from the one container.
Anyway-it's still a fantastic saving!!!:D

Think I told someone this last year---but will mention it again---I buy what they call "dutch gel" at the amish store near here. It is "pectin"--but I can buy a container of it that makes about 9 batches of jam or jelly--for about $1. more than I pay for a box (one batch)of "sure-Gel" (or...

RR----I'll be watching for some good "juice" recipes. My "ex" just had me order a juicer for him. I think he's hoping it will give him more energy--and be healthier for him. He has a lot of health problems --among them diabetes, so he has to watch his sugar. Also has only one kidney-that is not...

Sunflower--60* is enough to keep them from dying--but dont know if they will grow very fast. And I dont know if the seeds will germinate .I think your plants should do ok as long as they have plenty of heat (not too hot! lol)and sunlight during the day-----but the seeds you might want to keep a...
