nice peony bed, how do you keep people from picking your flowers ? if mine was near the drive they would be picked fast.

it sure looks to be Nearly wild, the come in red and pink, but its hard to say because of the lighting, but what ever it is I sure like the way it looks, I love the single petal roses

I found 4 of these little suckers on my lilies this after noon:eek: and killed them fast now I'll be on the look out for more, I'm not sure if there a way of killing them off or not. so far there only in New England and parts of New York and Canada. they can make a mess of lilies and even kill...

I had a short peek into the nest before Papa Robin came after me, there is one egg so far, the old man is keeping his eye on me so I'll have to find a way to get pic of the eggs with out getting pecked by papa Robin but I'll find away

Mother Robin
I was out taking some pic today and Mother Robin showed up and let take a pic of her before she started to fuss, so I moved on hope to get more later.

I haven't use fabric softener sheet in my dryer for over 10 years with most of them I end up with a rash from them and all my wash has to have 2 rises before I can put them in the dryer,if it's really proven hypoallergenic I might just try some I hate when my shirts come out looking like I slept...

Ron, I'm in zone 5a and most of the dogwoods do well in this zone, the reason mine didn't do well last year from all the rain my back yard becomes a small lake because of the clay this year I've add sand to the soil every time I plant some thing, to help it drain better and maybe we won't get...

I remember all the rain from last year, my red dogwood had a hard time making it last summer but this year it seem to be coming back, there are a few small flowers on it :) so I think it will be ok

My hens and chicks are in pots and stay out all winter and come back and spread, I've never tried to grow them in the ground yet,
Blue eyed grass is not a true grass but a member of Iris family ( Sisyrinchium montanum ), so far they haven't come back yet but I will wait to see if...

lantana will make it here in New England but it needs to be covered with lots of leaves mine made it for all most 4 years, but the snow plow man tore it out with his plow and half the tree belt last year

I wash the walls ever year and it just comes back, I'm learning to live with it.
