I'll bet if you go out without your camera they'll all be sitting pretty just waiting for you. LOL That's what happens to me and my bird feeders and bird baths. Lot's of birds all day long but as soon as I pick up the camera they all disappear before I can turn it on.

Welcome from the PNW. I have a picture of myself in the garden with my Dad taken before I could walk. He'd sit me on the ground next to him while he worked. Of course I don't remember THAT but some of my foundest memories are of Dad and I in the garden. I was in kindergarten when he let me...

I saw this plant years ago and feel in love with it. I drove three hours to buy one at a nursery only to have it die a week later. I planted seeds but none sprouted. I really REALLY want one. If anyone has a healthy plant to share I would love to give it a good home. I prefer the variegated...

They are all so lovely. I can't wait for my lilies to start blooming. First they need buds I guess. :)

Hi Chris Welcome. If you have a place where you can let that manure age GO-GET-NOW. :) LOL Seriously you will love what it does for your garden. It’s the best organic fertilizer and soil amendment you can find. You can just mix it in with your soil or use it to top dress. I only wish I...

I jealous. My seeds just went in a week ago. Tomatoes and peppers were started in the gh, the tomatos have flowers but it's been to cool for them to set fruit. :(

That's awesome Palm. I love when people use their imaginations to recycle and repurpose things like that. It sounds like the perfect shed. One of these days I'll have to tell about how I built my greenhouse completely out of recycled junk.

Oh Maggie your flowers are all so very beautiful and everything looks so healthy. That blue iris is to die for. Remember me when you decide to divide it.

Those are beautiful. I love old trees. I would love to live on the edge of a forest so I could have the lovely trees where I could have shade plants and some sunny areas for those flowers that need the sun's rays. Ah one can dream. :)

When I was little we learned about this in school so Dad & I tried it but when it came time to harvest the beans we ended up stepping on the vines. My grandson learned about it in school a few years ago so we tried it in containers. Corn doesn't do well in containers in windy areas. I give up.

I was a surgical technician and was called in for emergencies all the time. Some times I would no sooner fall asleep and the phone would ring and I'd get up and dress in the dark so as not to wake my husband. I wouldn’t realized what I was wearing until I got into the glare of the hospital...

Oh I love all your blossoms but I'm partial to columbines. I got some seed in a trade and winter sowed them. I can hadely wait for them to bloom.
