Like where Randy lives in Oregon, it cooled down here today too. finally was able to turn off the air conditioner!! and the steady wind off the ocean was blowing all the smoke from the forest fire up the inlet away from us, so it was a really glorious day!! I spent a lot of it standing in the...

We have had only had 2 days of light rain since in the 3 weeks since we have been home. that makes nearly 6 weeks of seeing mostly sunny skies!! I love it!! so much blooming here now, plum trees, camelias, rhodies, lots of bulbs, periwinkle. I am going to get busy sorting out my drip irrigation...

We are still down in southern california! we have been very lucky with the weather our whole trip since we left on jan 22 and have not seen any rain the whole time! it will be 86F - 89F all this week so we are soaking up as much sun as we can before we have to head back to the rain at home.

Today was a special treat, sunny and quite warm, up to about 50F it was down close to freezing last night though. They said we will have rain back tomorrow so that's too bad. We went for a drive and the sun on the ocean was so beautiful! sorry no pictures! :)
