Rhonda, I am sorry you had to go thru that. One thing comes to mind and I hope you take it right..."there'll be one child born to carry on..." In my family it always seems to work that way. When we lose someone, a baby sems to pop up. How is your little guy?
Peggy, if I were not alone, I would rejoice this time off. But I have to scramble now not to get behind enough to lose my home. You know how it goes. I have a lot of support. I'll be fine, it's just real scary.
I really believe that too Deb...I woke up on the 3rd of March two years ago thinking of my mom and my husband...both deceased. My son called within like three minutes to come to the hospital...my grand daughter was ready to make her grand entrance... I was her birth coach so I was to witness her arrival .... that most wonderful miracle. Now she is grandmas shadow.. I am blessed with her presence in my life..
Rhonda how are the girls doing? I have thought of you all often girl...
Shine girl I sure know scared and thoughts of losing home... Have faith girlfriend...The creator didn't bring ya this far to watch you fail... You have a great oppertunity to grow and become totally amazed with yourself... You can do more than you know... Ya have a most wonderful personality and a magnatism about you that makes folks wanna be around you... LOL even me
I lost my home before when I was responsible for three lil children who were depending on me.....it is the scariest feeling in the world...it allows you to dig down and know what is important and have lots of faith... I can honestly say the happiest moments in my life happened when I was penniless....witness the miracles occur from just that lil bit of faith.....not any bigger than a mustard seed.
Hugzzzzzzzzz hon...will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and send ya lots of good energy...you can count on it... Hang in their... I am a little onery but I usually say hang in their like a hair in a biscuit... I believe in you...
I was constantly hustling....doing a little bit of everything...from a remodeling job at a rest home...counselor at a drug and alcohol center for about a year and a half, cleaned houses and businesses, volunteering at a womens prison, and a childrens psychia... hospital, built fireplaces, stone work, construction fences...many types, built stone mailboxes, did beautiful stone steps coming down a hill off a bank where a swimming pool was...at the bottom was a gazebo....I have to say it looked really good... I went to the creek and chose every stone that went in that..
Shine Swindy is right....I did several of those things...I've thought of going back to college buy never pursued it...only like a few hours have my associate in business management..
My daughter went thru some of those classes at the unemployment office...said some of it really helped... She got called back to work and since then she is laid off again for a month. She has 5 houses that she cleans and is a runner for a business til then...
Have a good day you all...Its 63° and cloudy here and the wind is just a whistling... I can hardly wait to get outside wanna build my raised bed for my asparagus...I purchased two bags with 10 in each... I know it will take a while for them to produce good...
Peggy
